After a career in the Navy, the author devotes himself fully to the high mountain and regains his passion for photography. In these extreme landscapes, he explores his own vulnerability and seeks inner peace. His images capture suspended moments, filled with silence and strength. He photographed the encounter between rock, ice and sky, without fireworks, in search of authenticity. Each photo invites introspection and reconnection with oneself.
Works exhibited
This series explores the relationship between man, time and the vastness of the landscape. The mountain appears as a space both demanding and protective, where effort, loneliness and silence confront the individual with his own temporality.
Faced with these giants of rock and ice, the landscape also becomes the territory of memories and dreams. What once seemed accessible suddenly seems distant, but remains intact in memory.
Between ascension and contemplation, these images thus speak of the time that passes, of what we continue to pursue and of what, despite the years, continues to give us vertigo.
