Agnès Léon-Dufour Steeg, born in Toulouse in 1964, develops an artistic career focused on sculpture after initial training in drawing and painting in Paris and then in the United States. His visits to Zurich, Bogotá and Madrid enrich his practice and gradually lead him to a more physical work of matter. The sculpture becomes its preferred expression: it models the earth to capture the energy of the movement and then translate it into bronze. His work explores the tension between softness and strength in bodies and attitudes. Located in Paris, she also nourishes her creation by studying morphopsychology, seeking to reveal the inner and sensitive dimension of the human being.
