Alexandre and Chloé Bes are a couple of animal photographers and videographers. Their work is based on observation, patience and the search for emotions to reveal the often imperceptible beauty of the animal world. Together, they travel the African continent to raise public awareness of the protection of the living through powerful and striking images. In Kenya, they have produced a series of graphic-style aerial photographs highlighting the flamingos and textures of the landscape.

Africa seen from the sky
From the air, Africa turns out differently. In the waters of Okavango, an elephant herd tracks its wake; In Kenya, dwarf flamingos draw by thousands the very contours of the African continent. The soda crystals of Lake Magadi make up abstract patterns with mineral hues, when the turquoise blue of Bazaruto illuminates the Indian Ocean. Each print immortalizes a moment between graphic abstraction and wild truth, a witness to the beauty and fragility of our planet.
