Aude de la Bouillerie discovered sculpture in 2003 and decided to make it his profession in 2019. She practiced modelling, cutting and ceramics, exploring various materials such as terracotta, bronze and stone. His work evolves from figurative to abstraction, highlighting shadows and lights. Today, it favours a sensory approach to stone, allowing the shape to emerge from the material. A member of the Taylor Foundation, she also creates ceramic pieces combining singularity and quest for perfection.

The works gathered for this exhibition explore the same territory: that of the encounter between strength and fragility. From full volumes to the finest fragments, the stone turns dense, soft, almost vulnerable.
Through the games of balance, light and transparency, however, each sculpture reveals an inner strength, an ability to hold, transform and rise. The choice of these works thus draws a path between power and delicacy, where vulnerability, far from opposing force, may become one of its expressions.
