Photographer Nick Whittaker, based in New Zealand and originally from Tāmaki Makaurau (with roots in Whangamatā and Tautahi), has been developing his ocean photography skills for several years. It is inspired by the wild waters around the west coast of the North Island, as well as the sunrises and sunsets around the Coromandel Peninsula. The majority of his work is done either in Muriwai Beach or in Whiangamatā, exploring light, movement and color.
